Namaste Dear Heart,

The hearts of thousands of beings around the world are touched by the presence of Moojibaba. Many of them don't even speak English. This is where subtitling comes in. With the help of beings such as yourself, who freely offer their time to do this beautiful seva from home, Guruji already communicates in 21 languages. It is so joyous that you too feel called to help with this beautiful seva in the Subtitles team.

Because of the increasing demand for translation and interpreting services, the sangha created a Language Support Department which includes Interpreting teams, Book Translation teams, Subtitles and Facebook Quotes teams. It is part of a Sangha of devoted team members around the world which are fully immersed in Satsang.

What is Seva?

Subtitling Mooji’s words is a great seva. Seva is a Sanskrit word which means selfless service. It is offering without expecting something in return; it is Satsang itself. It’s not a usual translation process but more an inner work purely coming from a humble heart fully immersed in Satsang. This seva is a pure privilege and offered with unending gratitude towards our Master who relentlessly points us towards the Truth.

Some beautiful beings are compelled by the calling of the heart to spread the deep and life-changing wisdom through translating Guruji's pointings. The Spirit of Truth has touched them so deeply, that they feel moved to make the pointings available for everyone. Moojibaba refers to them as ambassadors of Truth.

Before you say Yes to subtitles seva please check inside yourself about the following points:

  •          Are you able to offer a few hours most weeks for subtitles seva from home for at least 3 months, with a heart immersed in Guruji’s pointings?
  •          Do you have good language skills and/or experience with transcribing, translation or proofreading?  
  •          Are you comfortable using a computer and feel willing to learn how to use standard subtitling software?
  •         Do you have access to a computer and a good internet connection?
